• Follows TIMS guideline, SOP’s to execute a safe, environmental sound and meet customer expectation operation in the shift.
• Operates and field checks process equipment. Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems from utility, site logistics, raw material receiving, in-process production all the way to final product movement.
• Acts as panel operator. Understands and utilizes the Process Control system for optimal plant operation
• Performs tasks assigned to operations as per Master Task List. e.g. Field checks, equipment preparation, samples, …etc to comply with government regulation and quality control requirement.
• Support and follow Operate Plant Work Process to execute shift operation.
• Steps detailed in Run Operate Plant Normal, Resolve myself, Start-up/SHDN, and Scheduling Activities of global work process.
• Support crisis response activities assigned by Crisis Response Leader.
• Proactively identify EH&S hazards and implement improvement opportunities during shift operation. Make sure all the associated identified hazards or risks are minimized as per government regulation, Dow guideline and policies.
• Report incidents and LER’s. Participate or lead incident Root Cause Investigation.
• Initiate production improvement opportunities to benchmark plant operation performance as per site and team goal dictate.
• Execute laboratory tests to conform with quality control and quality assurance system. Utilizes S.P.C. tools to optimize plant operation and provide feedback on the quality control and improvement opportunity under quality area.
• Perform process equipment troubleshooting, minor repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance, utilizing appropriate processes
• Carry out operational control as stated in the identification of the environmental impact aspects of each work
