Responsibilities

Technical support

  • Deliver high-quality, timely responses to technical inquiries from customers and distributors.
  • Resolve customer technical issues through proactive collaboration with customers, account managers, technical teams, plant personnel, and other stakeholders—ensuring high customer satisfaction with our solutions.
  • Support customers in effectively applying our products, highlighting the value proposition in their specific applications.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the core technologies behind our binder products and the battery applications of our customers. Clearly articulate how and why our products are used in customer processes.

Application development

  • Develop and refine application testing methods to enhance performance evaluation and product validation.
  • Gather and translate customer technical requirements into binder-specific language to guide product development.
  • Collaborate with the global R&D team to develop binder solutions.

Customer development

  • Collaborate with account managers and distributors to technically promote Trinseo solutions to customers.
  • Develop sales toolkits and deliver technical training to customers and distribution partners.

Qualifications

  • Master degree or above in electrochemistry, chemistry or material science
  • 5+ years’ work experience in Li-ion battery industry, preferred process development engineer, product development engineer, formulation development engineer
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
  • Proven accountability and a strong sense of ownership
  • Results-driven with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Expertise in battery manufacturing and testing processes
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation skills

The onboarding date will be Jan of 2026.
