As an TS&D/R&D technologist – Compounding and injection molding you have operational responsibilities and will be working on making polymer-based formulations. This includes planning the requests you receive, collecting and pre-mixing raw materials, operating equipment, and accurately documenting operating conditions. This will allow Trinseo to provide unique material solutions to serve our customers in a diverse set of application areas;
Depending on your experience, you perform minor maintenance tasks, and make modifications and improvements to the equipment;
You will handle a diverse set of raw materials, and understand how to handle them in safe manner; You closely collaborate with your colleagues in the warehouse, compounding team, the mechanical testing lab, as well as our Technical Service&Development department. You perform all the work in accordance with our EHS rules and regulations.
