The Technical Service & Development (TS&D) Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise, customer support, and application development solutions for a portfolio of polymer materials, including ABS, PC/ABS, TPEs, TPUs, and PMMA. This role serves as a key interface between customers and internal functions, ensuring successful material selection, qualification, and implementation across diverse applications, primarily within the automotive and plastics industries. The TS&D Engineer will lead technical discussions, support product trials and validations, investigate and resolve customer complaints, troubleshoot processing and performance-related issues, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize product performance. Working closely with customers, sales, R&D, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams. The position plays a critical role in driving customer satisfaction, supporting new business development, enabling cost optimization initiatives (VAVE), and delivering innovative material solutions that help the customer.
